2025 — Toward Completion

In December 2025, the academic monograph was published by De Gruyter — Transformative Community-Projekte: Zukunftsmodelle des gemeinschaftlichen Lebens, Lernens und Arbeitens. 192 pages, 100 color illustrations. A structured treatment of the ideas that had been developing on the farm for five years, now placed in the broader academic discourse on transformation, community, and education.

The stable building entered its finalization phase. Due to the fourteen-month tiling delay, a formal request was sent to the funding authorities to extend the implementation period — ensuring the project remained eligible for the ecological grants that had made the high standard of materials possible.

Five years since the keys were handed over. From sleeping bags by the tiled stove to a building with underfloor heating, triple-glazed windows, and fiber-optic infrastructure. From melting snow for coffee to an ecological seminar center.

The fruit trees continue to bear. The walnut tree, once gnawed to a stub, has recovered. The neighbors still help. The ideas are still being tested.

“There are perhaps more comfortable models of life than the one we have currently chosen for ourselves. At the same time, however, we want to dare something, try something and make a difference for the country, and for the planet as a whole.”
